There’s an interesting project picking up steam on our field. I saw it yesterday for the first time. The airframe is now being adapted for electric power. There is a motor, “brain box” (no kidding, that’s what it’s called), and battery packs. He’s got it all with exception of the batteries that should arrive before project is assembled. If I heard correctly, this is an adaptation from some weight shift glider projects. I’d like to see this kind of thing get some traction.
