Here are the results of tests to determine the glide performance of my eGull that uses the battery and powertrain from a Zero motorcycle. Flying weight, with pilot (me), is 750 pounds.

My instrumentation includes an MGL Xtreme which records flight parameters every second. I used that to generate some power-off glide characteristics. The curves show sink rate and glide (L/D) vs airspeed. The ‘dots’ are the data points collected. Next year I may do more careful test runs to see if the data scatter can be reduced. That could result in tweaking the curves.
