For those like me that admire simplicity, here's an interesting design, apparently one of three built by a group of friends each under a different name: Eaves Skeeter, Huff Huffaire, and Pearson Sugar Babe.
Mr. Eaves was a member of EAA Chapter 326 in Washington state and was killed in an accident with his plane in 2012 at the age of 92. I guess that if you've got to go, better to go doing something you love. Source: http://newsok.com/article/3903098
Attached are some pics from around NewsOK article and around the internet plus a Sport Aviation article by Eaves. I like the looks of the original trigear, personally.
Eaves
Leonard Eaves, Leroy Huff, Lloyd Pearson, Oklahoma City OK.
Skeeter, Huffaire, Sugar Babe 1968 = 2pClwM; 125hp Lycoming O-290G; span: 22'9" length: 26'2" v: 145/100/x range: 600. Three young men each built one example of this much simplified design with a fuselage consisting of a near-two-dimensional surface only. POP: 3 [N1111J, N1111V, N1111W].
