I want to make a dipole antenna for my Pietenpol. I intend to mount it internally, as the wood structure should facilitate that, and I don't want an antenna hanging off an antique style airplane. Has anyone ever made their own? I ordered the antenna text from RST, but haven't had time to really dig into it yet. Any suggestions? Tips? Experiences?

I don't know what other options for GA there are out there, but having spent many years in Air Force avionics I have to say that I am impressed with the solutions available from RST. They are technically impressive and have the obvious advantage to homebuilders of being inexpensive (relatively speaking of course).
