I've noticed highly curved tubing on many ultralights, especially in the cockpit area.

What methodology would one use to analyze these tubes?

They seem a bit too eccentric to use the Euler equations.

Could they be approximated as a 2 force member w/ a lot of buckling checks along the length?

Thanks.
