Hi All!

Sun n Fun is over and we are finally back home resting. Azalea Aviation had a full week at Sun n Fun showing our engine conversion and the Saberwing Airplane. We spoke with hundreds of people and were well recieved by all. We had two forums during the week. One on Friday and one on Saturday. Out on the flight line we had a line up:

The Saberwing Prototype with the 100 HP Spyder conversion (now at 65 hours total time)
The w8/10 Witmann Tailwind with our 100HP Spyder Conversion engine (now at 100+ hours total time)
John Clark's Zenith 750 with our 100 HP Corvair conversion (he built it with our assistance) and he had 43 total hours (after a 3 hour flight from Thomasville GA.

All three airplanes spent the week with the cowlings off and people milling about them asking questions. At our booth we were busy as well, showing our engine conversion, explaining the build procedures of our Saberwing Kit, Showing them the fuselage mock-up, showing in-flight video of the test phase of the prototype, handing out cold water....and more. We had several Tailwind people very curious about our composite side panels and firewall forward kit for the Witmann Tailwind...I'll explaine more about that later in the future.

The Saberwing finished out the week winning the Best Auto Engine Award from Sun n Fun and we would like to thank the Judges for their work. We will be working on it over the next couple weeks in preparation for more flying and giving out rides for potential customers.

I want to thank Dave, our production manager, for all his hard work and enthusiasm during the week. John, Gary, and Les....Thank you for voluteering your time (some was their vacation time) to the success of the show. And to Kyoung....thank you dear for being a great friend and business partner - but most - my wife. Your work and effort was appreciated by all. Thank you as well to Sun n Fun staff for their hard work to make an axciting aviation week. Thank you to all that stopped by to visit. We hope that you learned something new and we appreciate your love for aviation.

If you have never made it to Sun n Fun....make the effort. It is a unique and exciting experience. John Clark bought a Zenith 750 kit two years ago, built it, flew off the 40 hours and his first long cross country (over 50 miles) was to Sun n Fun. He is a new pilot with less than 80 hrs total time. Well done John!

Thank you All....Bill Clapp
