I am looking for advice from experience builders.
My plug for engine cowling was made out of drywall compound. Looks like I didn't do very good job of creating smooth surface. After started sending hard surface primer I discovered that there is all kinds of high and low spots.
I know when you work with dent on car door we need to use very long sanding block. But what is the best approach if you working with egg shape? I am planning simply apply more layers of this hard primer and keep sending high spots away until it comes perfect. Is this correct approach? Or I am missing something?
