Let us know the outcome. I would like to meet you there but it is a long drive for me to0 but not as far as your drive.I'm planing to go but there's a quilt show in Phoenix the weekend before that that my wife wants to go to. We can only go to one or the other (it's a 7 hour drive one way) If she uses her feminine wiles on me: ...it'll be the quit show.
Utter nonsense. I fly to Phoenix all the time and pass right over Buckeye. It's a very convenient way to travel for me and my wife. Far, far better than anything else available....VB - GA is dying and planes do not work...
Good to hear. Enjoy the flight. Wish there were more of us in your shoes. Nice avitar also.Utter nonsense. I fly to Phoenix all the time and pass right over Buckeye. It's a very convenient way to travel for me and my wife. Far, far better than anything else available.
7 hour drive vs 1.5 in the air... Gee, let me take a moment to think it over.![]()
I understand that yesterday was a good day at Copper State with great weather and good attendance.Dang, too bad it is not the following weekend. I’ll be ferrying my plane back from Florida and my planned route takes me right by Buckeye. Unfortunately, the timeline puts me there the following Friday. If plans change drastically, I might make it for the Sunday but that is highly unlikely.
Hire a "stunt double" to go to quilt show and fly to the airshow. We make a lot of stops and side trips (Pima air museum and every fabric store, quilt shop and arts and craft fair along the way). And my wife isn't going to fly cross country over the wilds of the Gila Wilderness in anything less than a Gulf Stream G650.
Terry, I'll be there.Who's going to Copper State this year?
