fresh barn find, casting number on case, 6243 with Alcoa under that...number on plate----317081c... the 3170 are clear, the 8 could be a 6 or 9...both mags are on it, (Bendix--SF-48).... Marvel Schraber aircraft carb is on it.. oil pan is on it but it,s bent up....otherwise complete, 1 valve cover will need to be replaced.. this has a taperd shaft,,, and is a non-electric engine.. this engine is stuck so i,m selling it as a core. will sell mags and carb separate...also have 2 other non-electric A-65 contintal cases and Flanged crank and pistons and jugs---$600.00. each... don,t ask if it,s still for sale,,,or think I will accept a low offer. if you have questions, e-mail me
