Just wondering if anyone would care to comment on the use of "socks" instead of biaxial cloth for say a wing spar shear web . . . ? I see they aren't terribly expensive from Soller Composites. Fiber orientation would be good at close to +- 45 and of course you wouldn't have any overlaps to worry about. I have used them on my propeller blades and they worked really well.

Thanks
