I am interested in an effective muffler for a VW aero conversion to tame the bark of the typical short exhaust stubs, perhaps something like the separate right and left mufflers used on the Cessna 150/152. I am familiar with the Swiss muffler, a long tube under the belly, but would like a lighter and more compact installation, all forward of the firewall. This would be for an engine with uncowled cylinders and Cub-type eyebrow scoops, so it need not fit under a cowling, though it should look neat. Does anyone have any tips/pics/inspirations for such an installation?

Thanks and regards,

Matthew
