I bought my FWF from a guy back when I was restoring my Avid. It had been hacked on some and I hacked on it a bit more to clear the 582 Blue Head bypass hose. I recently reconfigured my cooling set up and filled in a big hole on the side of my cowl where the old radiator used to sit. I got just a taste of fiberglass work and enjoyed it. This hole has bugged me forever and I've finally decided it's time to do something about it. I have a few ideas in my head on how I want to do this clean up project but wanted to get some more ideas. I want to build a bubble to cover up this ugly hole and streamline it. Having the two halves of the cowl come together right there is what is hanging me up. It has to obviously either be removable or built in two halves. I don't really want to install a bunch more fasteners. This is a bushplane not a hangar queen. Just going for a quick clean set up. Ideas?
