This is one of those airplanes I'd love to fly, even have... but I just can't justify building or buying one right now.

An electric-launch Goat would be right up there with it...

Tube spars, sailcloth, and Rotax are all downsides for me. The Breezy is built like a real airplane - welded and glued- as God intended.

Anyone who has flown a VP-1 is getting all the air he can handle.

My Dream Plane is a sort of Breezy.....

Dream Airplane for EXTREME FLYING-EXPERIENCE.... ie: produces: extreme adrenaline-rush, extreme-pleasure, extreme flying-euphoria etc etc.

So let's set some parameters first:
Must provide spectacular views of Planet…. Ie: safe wave-top surfing, safe canyon-surfing, safe remote-jungle flying, safe island-hopping….etc
Safety.... minimal chance of ever ending up in a wheel chair.
2-seater… nice to take along a friend.
Twin engines, must be 4-stroke aircraft engines....and be able to climb-out at MTOW.
Can't have bugs/birds hitting you in the face.
    Trike gear.
Can be put on floats if desired.
Must have a proven inexpensive 4130 welded-tube fuse... all tubes to have perfect CNC milled fish-mouths for easy simple fast perfect-jigging, and perfect welding by homebuilder.
    Predominently simple fabric-covering.
Most all components to be available off the shelf.

So, what we're looking at is a Breezy-fuse with an Aircam wing(has 2 Rotax efi turbo'd 4-strokes), and a windscreen like this Dijnn helicopter has:

    https://www.airliners.net/photo/Untitled/Sud-Ouest-SO-1220-Djinn/1002121/L see windscreen concept here.

Then, in complete safety, we can go flying a long way off-shore and watch atomic subs sailing out of Pearl like this.

CNC Breezy fish-mouthed tube kit from VR3 Engineering weighs 95 lbs:

The biggest problem with a VR3 kit is you can scratch build three fuselages for the cost. They do a nice job though. Plenty of breezy and aircams with windshields. The air cam I have access to is just fine with its windshield, but the bird better be small or it’s going down your throat no matter. No GA plane has a ballistic windshield.

These were only supplied as mostly built aircraft. It couldn't be hard to draw up your own. Great view!
