I found a book ‘Aircraft design-A systems engineering approach’ by Mohammad H. Sadraey in school library. It has a lot of experienced airplane design data and the design steps are listed very clearly. So I found it to be useful and easy to understand.

But this book is not a classical book in aircraft design. It is not recommended in this forum as well. I’m wondering is this book a nice book for newbie in aircraft design? I’d like to hear about comments on this book.

Hi Pierre, I have been following it with some caution. In amazon it only has 4 reviews, 2 5-stars (with a few credibility for me), and 2 1-stars one complaining for an old version and one from Raymer complaining for the similar name (really a bad choice for the name).

So, when I have to uses this book I always looks for the same equation in other book.

My personal point of view: You can use it, but take care, do not trust with the eyes closed.

Regards
