Bruce King's newest BK Flier (tri-gear) is flying now and I suspect he will begin selling plans soon. I like everything about it and am considering building one but have a few concerns that have remained unanswered on the BK Flier yahoo group. Namely, should I be concerned that this "new design" (his first BK Flier was a modified Hummelbird) will be sold without any stress testing being first done to it? His previous Flier was flown a lot including trips to Oshkosh and I'm thinking that fact will be his selling point in regard to it being "tested". There are also Beta builders building the same plane but I don't believe any of those are flying yet. How should I approach this important safety point when considering an airplane to build? Is it the sandbag testing that I should rely on or the hours of flight put on the plane. Thoughts?
