Best Prop Tip Speed?

TCFlyguy: Having trouble understanding your comment. It seems to me that it must be based on a number of assumptions, including that you have more power than you can effectively use.
Just wanting to find out where the propeller airfoil loses it's efficiency for best / fastest cruise. So far, it looks like anything below .72 Mach tip speed is fine.

Likewise, I am also interested to understand the max thrust assertions of .88 and .92 mach tip speed in #96

I just looked over their test data. Looks like it was all under 700 fps, maybe even under 650 fps. So if you can keep tip speed moderate, it may be useful. I may have missed something, though.

One must also be careful to remember that the manufacturer may have a maximum tip speed for their propeller as in the case with my warp drive ground adjustable 3 blade.
