Some of you have noticed the very high price of 4130. It has gone up since i last bought some. I am getting a list made up and i ain't liking it. SO,

I will pass along the results of my most recent experiment.

I have in the past kinked some tube trying to bend it, even when bent around fully supported, routed form blocks. (028, 035).
Using the same tube and form blocks as before i can now bend with no fear, not to mention waste of time.

Bolton metal products (Cerro Metal) 158 alloy is the cats meow. it can be reused. Coat the tube id with oil. pour it in, cap it and chill quickly.

Perfect bends! Well worth the cash! Must have stuff!
