I have installed a Lithium Iron battery that is very light weight but my concern is that it is mounted in the wing and from what I have heard is that these batteries sometimes overheat. It would be nice to know if the battery is overheating before my wing comes off ? I have no generator or method of charging the battery in flight so I suspect that overheating won't be a problem. Any information as to a method of advance warning the battery is overheating? I have searched on the internet for an inexpensive indication method but from what I have seen its an expensive solution ?
