I need to get some advice on purchasing a GPS receiver that will transmit accurate position data to the iPad.

I used to run a DUAL red GPS receiver until it failed and since I bought it about 5 years ago there have been a great number of advancements in this technology so I thought I would ask the collective their thoughts on what is new.

This GPS receiver will be used for work because my iPad does not have any kind of internal GPS receiver and I need an external GPS receiver to give accurate position data.

I am running ForeFlight at work in the certified airplane and I also use it in my personal airplane.

My personal airplane has dual Dynon SkyView displays with dual ADAHRS systems but the airplane does not have any other form of attitude indicator as a backup and I understand that some of the new GPS receivers have attitude data that gets zapped to foreFlight so it would be nice if the replacement GPS receiver had attitude so as to make a third backup to the Dynon.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
