I have great plains 1835cc circa 1996 i just purchased. i am going over the engine and doing a tune up and replacing anything/everything that i dont have confidence in. it has a point distributer and mag set up. i pulled the plugs on the mag side and they are Champion REJ 38 mil spec armored plugs. when i look these up i see they sell for $42.00 and up a whack! i see GPs sells an adapter to convert a regular plug to the armored wire end. has anyone had experience with these? great or a waste of $$$.
