Steve, I cant answer your question but have more questions for you:
    1. What engine are you planning on using?
    2. What is the anticipated build time for Gazaile 2?
    3. Is there a possibility of using CNC machining to reduce the build time?

Hi! Yes i'm a wanabe gazaile builder ;) but i can try or forward your question to Serge.
Btw there is a builder forum, you didn't get access?
And there is now a new gazaile 2 forum (I am the admin), more free (some people didn't like the way Serge handled his replies), more modern. I have yet to create the non-french section but go ahead I'm here for the translation.
    https://gazaile2.heolite.com

Around 2000 to 3000h. Usually 3 to 5 years, depends on builder. Yes cnc can help, a lot of DXF files exist, for the 18mm plywood corners and firewall for exemple, or all the metal parts for the controls (you can buy them lasercut from Serge)
