I am an amateur astronomer and was wondering how many others here that are? It seems to me that the kind of mind that wants to build an airplane, and especially design one, are also interested in these kind of things.

I've been an amateur astronomer for about 5 years. I use an 8" Celestron SCT telescope, and are currently building a 14" Newtonian telescope.

Anyone else??
