I have a ceiling mounted "cold shoe" hardpoint that I connect a cellphone holder to and I use this for video of the cockpit front view and the EFIS screens.

The mount is really sturdy however the arm that attaches to it is a few inches long and as a result whatever vibrations from the ceiling get amplified down the arm and the camera vibrates so much that the image is blurred.

I tried to turn off the image stabilization system and that of course made it worse.

I tried one of the flexible arms that stick to the window with a suction cup however that does not make it better so I was wondering if someone can provide so way to attach the cellphone with some kind of vibration isolator of other ideas.

thanks
