Well I have gotten my new project home, and have been studying it all day, and have two questions so far.
first- the plane is a mini coupe, they would normally have a twin tail. The original builder was building like a teenie two with one rudder, Thats fine also, the question is this. Is there any reason that the rudder has to be as thick as the elevator( about 2 inch). I am planning on making the rudder about 1 inch thick.
Second- this motor that came with the plane is VW and uses a single mag, now in setting there stairing at it I noticed that this motor has no fly-wheel, meaning they hand spun prop to start it, That does not really thrill me, how can I convert to a electric starter? can I just change motor mount and add flywheel ? will this screw up the mag mounting? or is there a extention for prop side mounting starter and alternater
Thanks Bob Hope all had nice Holiday
