I've been working on a design for a single-seat twin pusher all-metal ultralight. Max all-up weight target is 200Kg. (440 Lb.). To save weight (and because I'm far to lazy to want to spend endless hours polishing) I am thinking of anodising the entire airframe. Does anyone know if this is possible with commonly used aircraft alloys (probably all 6061 except the landing gear)?
