I was watching Top Gear and caught the second half of one of their stunts. They built a 1/5 replica Space Shuttle using a Reliant Robin as the Orbiter. I was skeptical, but the launch has to be seen to be believed.


Part 1: - preflight setup

Part 2: - the launch and, uh, flight.

They've done a bit of TV trickery with the "post-landing" drama - but it doesn't detract from the achievement.
