FYI if anyone is building or planning to build a 4.3 V-6, Brodix has added there aluminum heads to the online catalog. I'd guess these will save another 40 pounds or so of FWF weight. Considering the claims of how much lighter the typical airplane engine is, combine this 40# with an IVO prop instead of the typical Hartzell, and you have roughly 70# weight savings. That should get you pretty close to an airplane engine's weight! If I remember correctly, I weighed my 4.3 engine last summer and it was 365..iron heads, no psru, cooling system or mount.
