I seem to recall this being discussed before, but just in case...

Instead of turnbuckles, Chris Heinz Zenith 601 plans calls for this setup with a bolt and short sections of saed off aluminum angle. I see all kinds of problems with this, from misalignments, binding, rubbing wear, weakness, and fatigue cracks.

Does this Trouble anyone else? I can’t believe the plans actually call for this.
