My name is Jeff, I'm active duty Navy Aircrew and about 20 mos. away from retiring (militarly). Although I don't currently OWN an aircraft, I came upon the realization that in just a few months I won't be able to fly for "free" anymore and the thought was quite overwhelming. Determined to be pro-active vs. reactive, I have resolved to buy my own aircraft. WHOOOA! I don't remember them costing quite that much?! Well....let's look into homebuilts. AAAHHH, that looks alot better! I am doing the research now for a Loehle 5151, I like the P-51 mustang looks and it looks fairly affordable to boot.
