Somebody needs to commission a new design! Robert Baslee said this in 2014 article in Air & Space:

But he wishes somebody would ask him to replicate the Flying Flea, a homebuilt that debuted in 1933. “It looks like a guppy,” he tells Anderson as he pulls up a photo on a dusty computer. “It’s so ugly that it’s cute. I just know I could make that thing fly.”
