In researching Transponders, many of the Install Manuals reference the use of an "Air Switch" to switch the Transponder in and out of Standby mode when the aircraft's airspeed is not greater than 30 kts+/-.

Does anyone know anything about these Air Switches and/or a source for them?

Thank you!
