Ok, here goes. I dusted off the old air compressor today. It's a Craftsman stand up model. I haven’t used it in about 2 years now but used it regularly for about 4 years prior to that. I let it run a bit today to put just enough pressure in the tank so I could put some air through the drain plug to see if there was any moisture in it. To my dismay it appears the drain plug has rusted shut because I can unscrew it but no air comes out.

My question is, after I fix the drain plug should I get it pressure tested? If so, who provides this kind of service? Thanks.

Jake
