3:36 AM....Back from the "hangar" again after checking the last possible solution to aileron rigging. I am looking for deflections of 24 degrees up and 11 degrees down. I can obtain that setting by adjusting the two pushrods in each wing. The only problem is each aileron sits proud of its pocket by 5/8".
If I shorten or lengthen the pushrods to allow the aileron to sit in its pocket as designed, the required deflections are gone,
Double checked all pushrod lengths to the blueprints....I am lost. Before I call my EAA guy, I thought I would ask my fellow homebuilders.
Signed,
