Aerovee engine in Zenith STOL CH 701

Hello!
this is my first post and my question is would the aerovee engine work good in a zenith ch 701? I know that the 701 has a kind of draggy airframe but would this engine provide enough power? Also if you know of any other engines that would work good let me know. I care about cheap, not speed. I'm in it to fly so I need just enough power to go about 75 mph
