I need help to understand something. I am learning that aerodynamic balancing on horizontal and vertical tails will reduce stick and rudder forces. I was thinking all this time that we do this for mass balancing only. But apparently there is another purpose. Hope there is is explanation of how aerodynamic balancing working. And how would you know if they are large enough or not during test flight?
