Myself and a few chapter members have been having a discussion about adverse yaw. I am a fan of the Champ. I believe it got it name because it is the Champion of adverse yaw. On the other hand, an RV can be flown with feet on the floor with almost no yaw. So, mechanically, why do some aircraft have more adverse yaw than others, and, how do you design an aircraft to combat adverse yaw?
