Has anybody actually ever built or flown one of these things and if so how are they? They look pretty simple to put together....how difficult are they to handle for a traditional tail-draggin' high-wing guy????? Appreciate any info as I'm considering one for my next project. (Currently working on an Ison Hi-max 1700)....many thanks,

chris

Easy??

I'm basically a gyro guy, but back when (long time ago) we had to qualify our rotor rating in a small Helicopter. There were NO gyro instructors then. Before you get serious 'bout building either of these kits, I would suggest you spend an hours worth of Introductory Instruction with a local CFI. You'll learn in about 2 minutes that you cannot use "easy" and "Helicopter" properly in the same sentence. It's two hands on, and up front all the time. Bein' a tail dragger, you allready know 'bout dancin'.......
