Thank you for contacting us to express your support for a “pass through the fence” concept where electrical charging and hydrogen fuel stations could be accessed from either side of the fenced/secure portion of an airport.
President Biden’s American Jobs Plan includes a $15 billion investment to build a national network of 500,000 charging stations through a combination of grant and incentive programs for state and local governments and the private sector.
Please know that as Congress considers numerous proposals to improve our nation’s infrastructure including airports, we will certainly keep in mind a “pass through the fence” concept with regard to charging/fuel stations.
