A couple days ago I was somewhere between Vancouver and LA and heard an interesting callsign on the radio. We were pretty certain they were operating as “NASA 747 Heavy.” To a nerd like me that immediately conjures up thoughts of the Shuttle Carrier but I wouldn’t have thought it had much to do these days and going with your type as the flight number seemed a little too on the nose, but perhaps that’s the point. Anyone know what it could have been?
