My 1/2 vw had a steady needle on the vacuum gauge or MP gauge. The first time I flew my full vw I noticed this gauge or needle was bouncing so hard I could not read it. I questioned this and was told it's caused by a cheap gauge. In the automotive would a jumping needle on a vacuum gauge is a valve issue depending on how the gauge is jumping and when in the operating range.

After having this engine redone, I still had this bouncing needle and blew it off as a low quality gauge. Then on my last flight I look down and my Vacuum gauge or MP gauge is rock steady. No bouncing or fluctuation of this needle at all. When I saw this I started wondering what is wrong..lol It's nice to see the MP gauge steady and not bouncing. But I am amazed it is steady and not bouncing.
