This is a question more for orion, but anyone is welcome to comment.
I read an article recently which was talking about the development of the A-4.
What struck me particularly is that it was a fairly advanced design, and yet it came in on time, on budget, and did everything it was supposed to do.
Quite often we read about programs these days which have trouble meeting any of the original design goals, or go over cost or weight.
The A-4 seems to be a shinning light in this regard. I was wondering if you could perhaps give some insight as to wha made the A-4 such a development success.
