With the short TBO on Rotax 2 stoke engines, I'm beginning to realize that I'll be removing and re-installing my engine at least a a half dozen times (if it lasts that long, and in that case, I'll be putting a new one on)

I'm wondering about the downsides of using a few 4-pin trailer plugs to make things a bit easier during an engine removal or installation. I have a Bosch ignition 503 and it has 10 connections so I'd likely use 2 plugs and have the remaining two wires hooked up conventionally.

Any reason that I should avoid doing this?

Thanks!
