No, I am not actually thinking of doing this. I just thought it would make for an interesting discussion.

I believe there are some advanced 3D printers that can use a carbon fiber based filament. I don't know the properties of the filament, but do know that it is used for some small drones because of its strength and light weight.

Do you think it would be possible to 3D print full size wing ribs using carbon fiber? What would be the advantages/ drawbacks of this? Too expensive? Not strong enough?
