I just saw this on Avweb - I looked over the original Belite ultralight at Oshkosh and thought it was quite a nice effort at producing a Part 103 legal UL. This new model, the "Superlite", however looks downright awful. Incredibly crude-looking fuselage structure mated to some very well designed wings. But what shocked me was the price: $42,000 dollars for the fly-away version. Forty-Two-Thousand!

The much nicer looking previous Belite sells for about 25,000.

It will be interesting to see how many of this new one they sell, if any.
