I'm interested in the Slot Lip Spoiler which is commonly found on airliners. A slot lip spoiler is the piece immediately forward of the Fowler flap. They are especially effective because on deployment, with the flaps down, they kill the lift of that section of flap. I would be able to use full span flaps, and with the spoilers, I'd have superior glide slope control. What are your thoughts on this Orion?
