The intent of this section is to describe and discuss actual tests and/or improvements you have performed yourself in some area of homebuilt aircraft design, construction, maintenance, or operation. It's not intended for links to third party research or modification work. We have Aircraft Design/Aerodynamics/New Technologies as an area to discuss ideas, concepts, and outside research about airplanes and new aircraft technologies, so Tests and Improvements section will be the "shop talk" section for actual work you've performed or are performing now. It is open to discussion by other members, but threads here should be started by the person doing the work.

Ideally, describe what you are/were trying to accomplish, how the testing or modifications are being/were done, and what the results of the work have been, in fact.

Because of the limited topic area, this section is going to see rather tighter moderation than the rest of HBA, particularly at the beginning and until the section settles into its role. If a thread doesn't really fall into the intent of the section, we'll move it out to somewhere else rather briskly. Please help us keep this section on-topic.
