I’ve got an old 277 single rotax with what I guess is an A box on it. Looking to mount it in a configuration where the cylinder is upright. With the cylinder upright I also need the gearbox to be “upright”. So I removed the gearbox only to find that it will only go one way. The adapter plate is not made in a way where it can be rotated 180 degrees.
looking on the web I’m finding very little info on 277’s. But I do know for a fact that 277’s are out there with the gearbox orientation the same as the cylinder.
anyone know if there were different case versions or if a special adapter is or was available at some point?
