Doing a repair job on a plane that uses doubled aluminum tubes. I have the right sizes and wall thickness, and one slides real nice right into the other. My question is though, are they supposed to be bonded at all or will the bolts that go through them be sufficient for holding the doubling tube inside?

If it is to be bonded, what product should I use?

Thanks!
