Hi all,
I’m getting ready to start a WAR Fw-190 and was wondering if there is anything wrong with using Douglas Fir for the longerons and Sitka spruce for the rest of the structure. The plans call for Doug Fir or spruce, so I’m assuming there’s nothing wrong with this idea. I couldn’t find anything in ANC-18 against the idea but I could have missed something. Thoughts?

Thanks for listening!

Bill
