I need to add a crushable foam seat underlayment and change the profile. I was going to use white EPS but was able to get (for free) a large piece of Tuff-R Polyisocyanurate. I know not to hot wire it. I measured the raw piece at close to 4.2 lb/cu ft. but I did not remove the face layers so it is less than that. I have not found any information on using this for aircraft.
